It is the policy of Your Best Happiness not to discriminate against any individual on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, citizenship status, age, sex, marital status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, non-disqualifying disability or veteran/military status in matters of admissions, employment, or services. Services include all clinical services or research activities. Your Best Happiness, LLC is fully committed to function in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding non-discrimination.
The ethical codes of the American Psychological Association, the laws of the State of North Carolina, and federal privacy regulations guide Your Best Happiness' policies. This means that any information you share is confidential. University officials, teachers, parents, law enforcement officials, potential employers, and anyone else have no access to any of your records without your written permission. The only exceptions to this rule of confidentiality are the following:
If you are clearly likely to do physical harm to yourself or others in the near future.
If you share information about currently occurring abuse or neglect of others, including but not limited to juveniles or disabled adults.
If ordered to do so by a judge.
